Founded in 2024, Chaparral MedTech LLC is dedicated to bringing innovative medical technologies to market with exceptional timing and economic efficiency. We partner with both emerging and established companies to develop, protect, and strategically advance their ideas, maximizing value at every stage of funding and growth. Our services include Fractional CTO support, program planning and tracking, corporate communications, and implementation of design controls. We also support investors by evaluating the technical and commercial viability of opportunities, and assist inventors in preparing and filing broad, strategically positioned provisional patent applications to strengthen their intellectual property and long-term market position. Our Boston-based location provides access to a valuable ecosystem of clinical researchers, funders, fabricators, test houses, pre-clinical labs, suppliers, and contract manufactures that are essential to bringing a new product to life.
Our name comes from our founder, Greg Hall's origins in the Texas hill country. "Chaparral" is an arid, hilly terrain like what's found around Austin, TX. The flightless Chaparral bird is a quick runner made popular by the famous roadrunner cartoons for its ability to avoid pitfalls.

With more than 20 years of executive leadership in regulated industry and 25 years of product development expertise, Dr. Hall has served as the first full-time employee for multiple start-ups, building teams, culture, technologies, and corporate processes from the ground up. He brings deep experience across ideation, development, quality systems, clinical evaluation, and regulatory support, along with strong skills in hiring, motivating, and retaining top talent. An inventor on more than 35 issued U.S. patents spanning cardiac, obesity, therapeutic hypothermia, implantable pumps, medicinal gases, patient monitoring, and vascular access, he's adept at generating IP, reviewing prior art, and identifying strategic work-arounds. Over the course of his career, Having worked with over 30 start-ups as an employee or consultant, he offers a seasoned understanding of what drives early-stage success, supported by clear, effective communication and organizational alignment.
